DONATIONS FOR MEXICO
Our friends in Reynosa, Mexico – Bob and Donna Giffin – are in need of more beans and rice for their church members. We at Grace would like to provide the same offering to their mission as we did last year by taking another load of beans and rice to Mexico, but need your help to do so. If you would like to donate to this effort, please write the word ‘MEXICO’ on your tithing envelopes and checks.DISCOVERING GRACE
If you’re new to Grace and want to become a member, the Discovering Grace class is the next step for you. During this class, Pastor Steve will talk about the history, beliefs, people and future of our church. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and meet other Grace members, and food is provided. On Sunday, July 15, Grace will hold its annual baptism at the Ja-Lu Pool in Greenville, from 7-9 p.m. During this time, we will witness another amazing baptism service, enjoy some time in the pool with others and have a picnic! On June 3, nationally-known magician, Todd McKinney, will be in our children’s service on Sunday morning. He’ll challenge our kids to be Christ followers with his high energy and dynamic performance. Invite your friends and family to join our children for this end of school bash. Do you enjoy hanging out with kids? Would you like to change the World? Do both on Sunday mornings here at Grace. We need teachers, helpers, caregivers, check-in assistants and other support volunteers. We rotate all positions so you still participate regularly in the adult service. Epic Student Ministries will head to Colorado Springs again this summer for the Desperation Conference at New Life Church and an awesome week of fun, fellowship and connection with God. We have an awesome opportunity to take God’s message and love to the far reaches of the world right in our own backyard The country of Nepal is overrun with civil wars and persecution. Many refugees have made their way to Houston where our friends Abraham and Oh Maya have planted a church. Join us July 9-15 in Houston as we bless our friends, their fellowship and Nepalese refugees with children’s VBS, adult teaching, English conversation and more. The women of Grace are collecting Greenville school uniforms that your students have outgrown to provide them to needy students in the community. As the school year is winding down, bring your clean clothing (in good repair — no holes or rips) to the Connect Booth on Sunday mornings or to the office during the week. We* will accept school uniform donations year round, but would like to take advantage of the ending school year as you make room for growing students in your families.LIFE GROUP!
