Grace Adventure
Grace Adventure is a series of four classes over a three month period designed to connect you to the vision of Grace Community and empowers you to serve God with greater purpose and passion.
In Discovering Grace you will connect with the history, beliefs, people and future of Grace. Discovering Grace is a two hour class and is held three times a year on Sunday afternoon usually during one of our church wide dinners.
Our remaining classes are held on Sunday evenings three times a year. Each class is made up of three two hour sessions. In True North you will discover the truths of life in the Kingdom of God. In The Climb you will connect with the core issues of living a spiritually empowered life in Christ. And in Riding the Rapids you will connect with God’s plan for your life as you commit to serving Him and others.
Our goal is that, through your participation in the Grace Adventure, you will experience a greater commitment to the vision of our church, deepen your walk with Christ and actively serve in an area of ministry that is consistent with your God-given design.
Ministry
At Grace Community Church we value every one, that's why we invest our time and resources into seeing people become all God created them to be. From our highly trained nursery workers to life coaching for adults there really is something for everyone at Grace.
Growing In Grace
Hands of Compassion
Hands of Compassion is ministry designed to impact the physical and spiritual needs of people in Greenville and Hunt County. For more than twenty years volunteers from various Greenville churches have given time, talent, money and other resources to help feed and clothe the hungry.
Each Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. people in need can receive food and clothing at no cost and take part in a special worship service. Many members at Grace Community Church are actively involved in the ministry of Hands of Compassion. From administration to unloading trucks, people from Grace join with others to see the gospel lived out by helping the needy with daily necessities.
Anyone can help through prayer,
personal involvement, and giving. If you would like more information about
Hands of Compassion please contact Newman Peters by calling (903) 408-9903. You
