Children’s Ministry — Reel Kids
At Grace we know that raising your kids can be a messy business, but we believe that spiritually nurturing their children is a family’s highest priority. That is why we are committed to partnering with families to ensure that every boy and girl has the opportunity to have a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and the knowledge to build their lives around a biblical worldview.
REEL KIDS is a fun and exciting place for children to worship, learn, play and grow. On Sunday mornings children join their families for worship before being dismissed to REEL KIDS for age appropriate lessons. Children check into the Pre-school, Elementary or Club 56 classrooms depending on their age and grade in school. The Pre-school room is located next to Grace Cafe, K-4th grade are in the Elementary classroom behind the stage, and the 5th & 6th graders go to Club 56 upstairs in the International Cafe above the Elementary classrooms (behind the stage).
Because our children love movies, we have embraced this theme across our children’s ministry. Our mission is to create in children a hunger for spiritual truth, to equip parents to be spiritual leaders at home and to develop friendships with every child so that we can encourage them to walk with God and help their parents get into their world. REEL KIDS is a family wide ministry that starts with the children but also works with parents offering training, encouragement, help and support.
Nursery Care
A major part of Grace’s Children’s Ministry is our fully staffed nursery. We know the anxiousness that comes from leaving your little ones in a new place and we work hard to ensure that you can rest at ease knowing your children are safe with us. Parental check in is required for drop-off and pick-up of all babies and toddlers. All our nursery staff are highly trained, loving adults with no one outside of staff allowed to enter the nursery beyond the check in station. And while safety is our highest priority, we also want your children to have fun. Nursery time is built on individual care, bible stories and interactive play. Whenever you pick up your little one you will also receive a Nursery report informing you of your child’s behavior during nursery time, what he or she was taught, and any snacks that were given. At Grace, you can have total peace of mind knowing that your children are receiving the best care possible.
REEL KIDS Volunteers
Our vision for REEL KIDS is helping families raise spiritually vibrant world changers! All our volunteers undergo comprehensive background checks and both group and individual training that is on going for as long as they work with our children.
