Basic Baby shower

BASIC- BAby Showers In Christ, is an outreach ministry for expectant mothers who have turned to the crisis pregnancy center for help. We are given a name of a young mother and have the privilege of throwing her a shower. The goal is to provide the mother and baby with gifts that all moms find useful. We would also like to make available a home church to a new family that maybe searching for somewhere to worship.
To make these showers a success we need volunteers to attend the shower and also people who would like to help with the following items:
Cake
Decorations
Drinks / Snacks
Games (2-3 games w/prizes)
Giving
Set up / Tear down
Transportation (just in case the mother needs a way to get to & from the shower, as well as transporting any gifts if their vehicle is not large enough)
Also, there is a tub labeled “BASIC” next to the Connect Booth if you would like to donate any baby items that you might come across on sale. The following is a list of gift ideas that are always helpful:
Diapers (any size / any brand)
Wipes (any brand)
Baby powder
Diaper cream
Baby shampoo
Baby lotion
Q-tips
Grooming kit (brush, comb, nail clippers)
Bath towels / washcloths
First aid supplies
Bottles / bottle drying rack / bottle cleaning brush
Bibs
Teethers
Pacifiers
Blankets
Booties / socks
Hats / mittens
Baby hangers
Baby laundry detergent
