Central to who we are is our desire for people to connect, grow and minister at Grace. Our classes, Bible studies, Life Groups, and ministries exist to provide you with information about us, ways for you to connect deeply with other believers, opportunities for you to grow in your faith, and opportunities for you to serve. These are central for us to experience growing, dynamic, life-giving faith.

We value church membership highly. It is a covenant with each other to grow and serve faithfully in the context of community.

Growing faith requires community. One of the most important ways we develop community is through Life Groups. Through fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and service, we desire for all Grace members to find a group to connect with.

Want to know more about who we are as a church? Want to take the next step in becoming a member at Grace? Then this is for you! This lunch directly follows the Sunday morning service. A free meal for the entire family is provided as well as childcare for any children. Our church staff will join you for lunch so we can meet you. We’ll provide a short presentation to introduce you to our church’s vision and passion, it’s history, our ministries. This is a great time to bring your questions and collect information. We hope this is a launching pad for you to connect and get involved.

What is Covenant Membership

Christ has created us by a covenant to be his people, not just individuals, but a people for himself. To fulfill the covenant calling demands that we make a covenant together to be the body of Christ for each other, for the world, and for the glory of God.

How to be a Covenant Member

Come to a Covenant Membership Seminar. As part of the seminar, you’ll be given the opportunity to commit to join and serve as a member at Grace. These seminars occur throughout the year. Check out the events page for the next scheduled seminar. They are usually on a Friday evening from 7-9. Childcare is available with your RSVP.

God’s call to serve and minister is for every believer, and we encourage our people to become involved in service and ministry. The job of our Pastoral Staff is to guide the steps of our ministry, but we couldn’t accomplish all that God has for us as a community without the participation of our people. If you would like to serve we have put together a process to help connect people with service opportunities. Here’s how to get involved:

BECOME A MEMBER

To serve in most ministry opportunities within the church at Grace, we ask that you make a commitment to serve God together, in this time and place, through covenant membership. Ministry is done in community.

SERVE ON THE HOST TEAM

We encourage new members to serve on the Host Team as a first step to getting involved. You’ll meet people and get a great sense of Grace life through this gracious ministry.

CONNECT WITH A MINISTRY LEADER

We desire for you to connect relationally with a team of people who serve God and serve others. Connecting with the ministry leader is a first step. If you’d like to connect with one of our leaders, ask questions, and find out how you might use your time and gifts to serve at Grace.

Are you ready to serve. then complete an application form so we can connect with you and find a place for you to serve, connect, and grow.

AUTHORIZE A BACKGROUND CHECK

We submit a background check for every person who serves as a volunteer at Grace. Once you’ve connected with a ministry leader, you will receive an email from Protect My Ministry, requesting your authorization for Grace to complete a background check.

Life Groups are one of the ways we create meaningful relationships within the church. Within community, we fellowship, support each other, pray, study, and serve.

Life Groups are small groups within the larger church in which people do life together, taking care of the “one-another” in Romans 12:10.

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching, and to fellowship, and to

sharing in meals, and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)
