Helping People Find

Their Place

In God’s Story

service times

Currently, we’re meeting in the building on Sunday morning at our regularly scheduled time of 10:30 a.m.  We desire to love each other well during this season of masks and social distancing, living wisely but without fear. We’ve arranged our worship center with generous space between chairs. You’re welcome to wear a mask if you’d prefer and give space to each other while we fellowship and worship well. Children’s services are happening on Sunday morning. We plan our children’s activities with consideration for keeping our kids safe, while recognizing that perfect social distancing is not possible with children. Parents are welcome to keep their children with them during the service.

come and visit

Our services on Sunday and Wednesday are always open to all. As are our Life Groups. If you’re visiting for the first time and have children, we encourage you to arrive by 10:15 so that you can meet your children’s teachers, check-in, and help your children get comfortable in their rooms.
We are located in Greenville, TX about an hour northeast of Dallas. Here’s our address:
2800 Rodeo Drive, Greenville, Texas 75402
If you have questions and would like to talk with a pastor, email us at staff@graceweb.net. Christopher, Andy, Cindy, Dustin or one of our elders will get back to you.

our core values

Grace  Community Church exists to help people find their place in God’s story.

We believe people need grace, not religion

People need Christ’s love, acceptance, forgiveness and healing. It is the most unique core value to Grace. It is our DNA, our mantra, our very name.

We believe “helped” people help people

We are committed to evangelism, service and multiplication. Those who have been helped to find their place in God’s story, help others to find their place in God’s story.

We believe “changed” people change

We are committed to discipleship, sanctification, bearing fruit and wholistic change. One’s place in God’s story is characterized by growth, discipleship, and change. There are many words we use to describe the changes God works. We are saved, justified, converted, and adopted. But it doesn’t end there. Changed people change. We bear fruit, grow, are sanctified, and transformed.

We believe without community there is no church

To be part of God’s story is to be part of his church. We are called to live interdependent lives, intertwined as family, submitted in unity.

We believe we are characters in God’s world, not the other way around

He is the center of the story. Through worship, prayer, Christ-centeredness and submission we honor the Author and seek his purposes.

who we are

Grace began in the living room of Steve and Karen Lawson in April of 1999. Their desire was to seek God with authenticity and to pursue radical Grace rather than legalistic religion.

Grace has grown to a dynamic, diverse body with ministries for men and women, students, and children. We serve God’s kingdom locally in Greenville, Texas and abroad with Outreach Partners in Reynosa, Mexico, Vancouver, British Columbia and missions trainers in Colorado. We are non-denominational with a love of Scripture, worship, service, and each other.
Christopher Heslep joined our team as our lead pastor in March of 2021. Our elders, leaders, and church family are excited to see where God leads our congregation in this next season of ministry, service, and growth. But God’s purposes for Grace remain uniquely fashioned for this time and this place. Join us as we see his plans unfold.

the written Word of God
The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God – fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
the creation and corruption of all people
The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image, to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgment.
our Lord Jesus Christ
The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ – born of the virgin Mary; fully divine and fully human, yet without sin.
the atonement of Christ
The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.
the resurrection of Christ
The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection, his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Savior of the world.

the Church
The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers – given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit’s gifts to bring glory to God, edify the community of believers, and proclaim the gospel.
the return of Christ
The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfill the purposes of God, raising all people to judgement, bringing eternal life to the redeemed sand establishing a new heaven and new earth.
